Stop badgering me...

Vintage Wisdom Oracle (US Games 2014)
Vintage Wisdom Oracle by Victoria Moseley (US Games 2014)

Tuesday doesn't feel like a big day for adventure to me, certainly not flying-on-the-back-of-a-butterfly-around-the- Eiffel-Tower-in-a-painfully-cinched-corset-adventure! So I thought I'd check the little guidebook to see what the heck:

'This card speaks of a willingness to learn. Now is the time to review your direction or contemplate a new way of dealing with an existing situation. Reset your internal compass, shake the dust from your wings, and head for new horizons.'

Argh!

  1. Never wear a corset when flying on the back of a butterfly or for that matter never wear a corset. Definitely not a comfort zone! Thank God those days of corsets and girdles are gone!

    1. Lol I can remember as a kid, one time the door of my mother's bedroom was a little open and I got a glimpse of her struggling to get this darn girdle yanked on herself. Wow I thought, I'm never wearing one of those contraptions! Never did and growing up in the sixties once I hit my teens I wasn't long firin' out the old brassiere! She asked me one day why I wasn't wearing a bra. I told her I'd flushed it down the toilet. I didn't really just stopped wearing it for a while ;)

  2. Ha ha, the cards aren't letting up on you, are they?! Maybe you just need to give in, so they'll stop badgering you... ;)

  3. I truly enjoy the images in this deck, but to use them for an oracle -- not so much. However, my teenage daughter likes them, so I gave them to her. You never told me you were "dusty" or that you had wings. LOL ;)
