Glimpse the truth

Wild Unknown Tarot, 2013
I can only think this morning of George Harrison when I see this card. I love George Harrison. He's my favourite Beatle. I think he's totally underrated.

This card, Ace of Wands in Wild Unknown Tarot (2012) makes me think of epiphany, and epiphany makes me think of this song by George Harrison:

WITHIN YOU AND WITHOUT YOU

We were talking
about the space between us all
And the people
who hide themselves behind a wall
of illusion
Never glimpse the truth
Then it's far too late
when they pass away.

We were talking
about the love we all could share
when we find it
to try our best to hold it there
With our love, with our love
we could save the world
If they only knew.

Try to realise
it's all within yourself
No one else
can make you change
And to see you're really
only very small
and life flows on
Within you and without you.

We were talking
about the love that's gone so cold
and the people
who gain the world and lose their soul
They don't know
They can't see
Are you one of them?

When you've seen beyond yourself
then you may find
peace of mind
is waiting there,
and the time will come
When you see we're all one
And life flows on
Within you and without you.

  1. Gorgeous card! It's weird, when I read the lyrics I thought, I've never heard that Beatles song. Then, when I played the vid, of course, I had. Lovely song, but the tune gets in the way of the lyrics for me, not sure why. So, thank you for actually getting me to read what's said :D

    1. I love the music; it's trippy. Sing along with it. The sound flows just like the endless flow spoken of in the words. The tune ebbs and flows, never really stops, never much speeds up or slows down, it fluctuates without making allowances for individual words. The tune is the ocean, the words are the waves. Or vice versa. :)
